Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will meet on December 22.

Report informs via Kazakh media that the official welcoming ceremony will be held at the Congress Center of the International business center Tashkent city. Meetings in expanded format will also take place here.

Tokayev will visit the Qaldirg’ochbiy maqbarasi which was built in Tashkent in the first half of the 15th century.

Bilateral documents will be signed by results of the state visit. A short briefing for media is also expected.

Today in Uzbekistan the Kazakh president will put flowers to the monument of Independence at the Yangi Uzbekiston part and attend a symbolic tree-planting event.
