President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has replaced Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov in connection with his transfer to another job.

Report informs citing Uzbek mass media that Bakhtiyor Saidov will be the acting foreign minister.

Saidov previously served as the country’s Minister of Public Education.

In April 2022, Norov became acting foreign minister, and in early September he was approved for the post of minister of foreign affairs.
