Bengaluru: Upon the invitation of Jitendra Nayak, President of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) Hubli; Amrut Joshi, National Co-Convener to Southern Region; Chief Representative Officer, South Zone, Jigme Tsultrim and Chair of the Water Committee from Reimagining Doeguling Tibetan Settlement (RDTS) Tenzin Thakpo participated in the “GATEWAY TO SUCCESS” National Associate member mixer from 1- 3 September 2023 held at Kenilworth Resort & Spa, Goa.

Shri Amrut ji shared about the History of Hubli and his experiences with the Tibetan people and urged attendees and members to learn about Tibet and its people.

CRO Jigme Tsultrim explained the importance of Tibet, its location and the journey, hardships faced initially in India due to the Chinese usurpation and how grateful and kind India is to provide a refuge to stay and special schools for Tibetans at the request of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Tenzin Thakpo shared the importance of Doeguling to this world and how RDTS, an NGO based in Doeguling is taking sustainable measures/ initiatives to mitigate the threats of global warming and climate change through bottom-up approach and compassion through action.

On the sidelines, CRO Jigme Tsultrim accompanied by Amrut Joshi ji visited and met the members of “Tibetan Handicrafts & Souvenirs market from Baga & Calangute and heard the grievances faced by the members and assured of every assistance possible from the CTA.
